We're delighted to announce that Yorkshire Education Recruitment are the lead sponsor of the 2021 Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival.
Yorkshire Education Recruitment has been a firm supporter of the Festival for several years and first sponsored the event in 2019. Our partnership with them has helped us to extend our schools network and to run additional projects and activities to further support dance in schools.
Yorkshire Education Recruitment is an education recruitment agency providing Secondary, Primary, SEN Schools and Nurseries with temporary supply teaching and permanent staffing solutions. Based in York, they work closely with schools in the City and with schools across the rest of Yorkshire including the East Riding and North Yorkshire.

The 2021 Festival will be staged across two weekends -13th/14th & 20th/21st November at Central Hall, the University of York. Over 1200 children and young people from 56 schools, colleges and community companies will take part; all ages, all abilities, all styles.
Each performance will be a response to the 2021 theme, ‘The Power of Together’.

This year will see Yorkshire Education's involvement and investment develop still further with some exciting plans in place. The Yorkshire Education team will be dropping in on rehearsals and sharing the successes along the way. Participating schools will also receive a free half day supply on a day of their choosing. Not only this, but if the school quote ‘Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival’ upon booking their supply, they will also be entered into a draw to have a choreographer for a half day come out and help prepare the school for the Festival.
