The Carriageworks, Leeds

We’ve teamed up with Leeds 2023 and Yorkshire Dance to offer schools across Leeds the opportunity to take part in a day of dance activities and performances at The Carriageworks on either Wednesday 18th or Thursday 19th October. Schools will take part in a carousel of dance activities and workshops. The day, beginning at 9.30am and finishing at 2.30pm, will culminate in a performance by participating schools in the main auditorium in response to the Leeds 2023 season theme, ‘Dreaming’. Please note that this opportunity is only available to schools and colleges in Leeds.

Grand Opera House, York

We're taking the Festival to a new venue in York with a fresh new format at the Grand Opera House York. We're offering schools, colleges and community groups from across Yorkshire either a midweek or a weekend experience. The provisional dates are Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th October. We'll ask schools, colleges and community groups to develop a performance in response to a theme. The day will be a little shorter than in the past with groups arriving in the afternoon to rehearse before performing in front of a packed house in the evening.
